Keeping up with the cleaning and maintenance of your bathroom is a chore we'd likely all rather do without, but at the same time, we all can agree that it's probably the place in your home that could use the most cleaning love and care—especially your shower.
Over time, you'll likely notice some sediment and buildup around your shower head that is not only visually unappealing but could be affecting your water pressure and overall plumbing functionality.
Next time you have a few minutes to spare, give your shower head a deep clean by doing almost no work at all. Here's how:
- Grab a plastic bag and fill it with warm water and vinegar.
- Use a rubber band to tie the bag around the showerhead so it’s covered in the vinegar mixture.
- Let it soak for about an hour or two, depending on the amount of buildup.
- Remove the bag and wipe any remaining mineral deposits away.
This process will remove any sediment that might be clogging your spray, and make it look good as new! If you have any plumbing needs that might require a little more expertise, give us a call at 479-464-0600 and schedule an appointment today!
